The House Farmer is proud to announce that its project Jocondo.io has been selected as an Impact Startup at the Web Summit, one of the world’s largest events dedicated to innovation, technology, and startups.
This recognition makes us proud and confirms that our chosen path — combining sustainability, technology, and community — is the right one.

The Impact category at Web Summit is reserved for companies and projects that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Jocondo.io, developed by The House Farmer, is the first global network of connected urban gardens and directly contributes to several SDGs:
SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities 🌆 Bringing more greenery and resilience into urban spaces.
SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production 🛒 Helping people grow fresh food at home and reduce waste.

a patented sock garden, with washable and replaceable textile covers;
IoT sensors monitoring soil moisture, air quality, CO₂, PM2.5, water level, temperature, and atmospheric pressure;
LoRaWAN connectivity to link with a global network of urban growers;
a dedicated app, enabling users to share experiences, data, and insights within an international community.
Every Jocondo is not just a garden, but a node in a global network combining technology, design, and sustainability.
